Beginners learn to prepare the loom for weaving and to read and design patterns. Students produce a sampler exploring loom-controlled and hand-manipulated techniques, and may create a project of their choice if time allows. Continuing students may study a specific weave technique or design a project with the help of the instructor. Discussions include project planning, fibers, different weaves, and color interaction.
